The Blo Out Lounge had Marisol, Diana, and I come to Newport Beach to do hair and makeup for the Marissa K fashion show. Marissa K is a local fashion designer and was debuting her new line at this gorgeous mansion with a killer view. We got the chance to check out her line and the dresses were amazing if you have somewhere fancy to go to. I fell in love with this beautiful princess cut ring that was displayed among many other sparkly jewelry and wishing it was mine!

Let It Shine!

Isabel Rolo is the executive producer for the Let It Shine! Show broadcast in Public Access TV in Orange County and the web. I got the opportunity to come into her studio to do her hair and makeup. We wanted a natural and fresh look so I kept her makeup very simple and her hair with loose waves.

Sunday Funday

The Blo Out Lounge did a Sunday Funday event last week. Clients who got a wash and blo out ($35) received a complimentary deep conditioning treatment and scalp massage and mini-facial demo. We had spray tanning from Bronzed Beauties and a private area to custom fit for a fabulous bikini by Bikini Mama's. Even with the rain pouring hard outside, it was a fun day nonetheless!

Darren&Nadia Tran's Wedding

My dearest friends from Boston got married over the weekend and it was such a cute wedding! I wish you guys a lifetime of love, happiness, and prosperity together. May life brings you both plenty of wonderful memories to come. <3

I used two of my favorite MAC eyeshadows for Nadia's eyes: expensive pink and sketch. I found out Nadia had a keratin straightening treatment done 2 weeks prior to her wedding, so her hair didn't hold curls well at all. I kept her hair simple and sleek, which worked well with her pink Vietnamese dress.

colors and vintage jewelries

When I did the photoshoot with Jennifer Rae Ochs, I was happy to discover that we had two things in common: colors and vintage jewelries. Her whole apartment was covered in colorful abtract arts she had painted. I was pleasantly distracted as soon as I walked in. Her vintage jewelry collection was awesome.
